The Gamer Lobby: Episode 1 – DmC, Microtransactions, Used Games Ban Rumors + More
What’s this podcast series that just came out of nowhere, you say? Well, truth be told, it’s long overdue. It’s been talked about among the VGHC Facebook Group several times and has finally come to be a reality. We attempted this once before and while it wasn’t absolutely horrible, the audio cut out at times and it was a bit on the unorganized side.
This time around, months later, we still come into our attempts at a podcast with no scripts but more organization and knowledge of the topic at hand before jumping live to do so. This is a general gaming news podcast that will be done live approximately bi-weekly live on the VGHC YouTube via Google Hangouts. In the case you miss the live show, much like InRetroSpection, there will be posts on the site for each episode.
That’s pretty much all I’ve got for you guys on it. Check us out if you’d like. We rambled on for about two hours on various topics and in about two weeks time, we’re prepped to do it again! We will be swapping out members from time to time to have people that can speak best on each topic at the time, even if that means me and/or Nathan stepping down to do so. A podcast that will truly be the voice of the gamers. This weeks episode features Jenn “ZombixDoll” Joseph, Joshua Caleb, host of InRetroSpection and Calvin Amenheuser, VGHC Facebook Group troll.

@OcarinaOfTom Definitely something I hope can be done in the future. For now, it was just time to finally start doing them.

@neok182 @OcarinaOfTom I know that. It's the getting it on iTunes part that I don't know. Like actually have us setup so people can subscribe to us on there if they wanted.
Just rename it "The Nathan Show" cuz he spoke like the whole 2 hours! LOL!! And that's not a bad thing...dude knows his stuff. :) Great job with the first video podcast. I really think this is a cool idea and can continue to be something interesting.
@Masikus While I'm sure he could go on for a full two hours on his own, this is about giving voice to gamers, not just one guy. Besides, throw Retro his way and suddenly he has no idea what he's talking about. :pReally though, even if it means one of the other stepping down from time to time, the idea is to nail the topics we speak on.

@Masikus Perhaps when this overdue hangout happens, it can be a possibility.
@VGHC_K1dMachin8 @Masikus i do get going on for a bit lol. and victor is very right, when it comes to retro, i pretty much have to shut up since i wasn't in to about 99% of it.
